Refund policy

At StoryForge, every item is carefully crafted layer by layer. Because many of our products are made specifically for you, our return policy reflects both EU consumer law and the nature of 3D-printed goods.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.


Items that cannot be returned

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom or made-to-order products, including items printed specifically to your specifications or produced on demand;

  • Gift cards;

  • Items that cannot be returned for hygienic or safety reasons;

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

These exclusions apply only where clearly stated before purchase, in accordance with EU consumer law.


Right of withdrawal (EU Consumers)

For standard (non-custom) products, EU customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, without giving any reason.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have an additional 14 days to return the product.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom or made-to-order items, as these are produced specifically for you.


Condition of returned items & depreciation

You may unpack and inspect the item as you would in a physical store.
If the product has been used beyond what is necessary to assess its nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may apply a reduction in value to the refund.

Because our products are 3D-printed, minor surface textures, visible layer lines, and small imperfections or dimensional deviations may occur as part of the production process. These natural characteristics are inherent to 3D printing and do not constitute damage or defects.


Return shipping costs

Unless stated otherwise, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Refunds

Once we have received and reviewed your return, we will process your refund within 14 days of your withdrawal request, including the standard outbound shipping costs.

We may withhold the refund until:

  • the returned goods have been received, or

  • you have provided proof that the goods have been sent back,
    whichever occurs first.

Refunds are issued using the original payment method, unless expressly agreed otherwise.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to receive a different item, please return the original product (if eligible) and place a new order.
